Mike Gallo is the bassist for New York hardcore band Agnostic Front and the artist behind Gallo Originals. His work connects the energy of the stage with graffiti, mixed-media art, and a lifelong connection to New York hardcore culture.

Mike Gallo is a musician and visual artist whose work moves between the stage and the studio. As the bassist for Agnostic Front for more than two decades, he brings a driving low end and a high-energy presence to one of New York hardcore’s defining bands.
Through Gallo Originals, Mike channels that same creative spirit into graffiti-influenced artwork, mixed-media pieces, and original designs. Music, New York street culture, and making things by hand run through both sides of his work.

Mike plays bass and sings backing vocals with Agnostic Front. More than two decades of recording and touring have taken his New York hardcore roots to stages around the world.
He also plays bass with Stigma, Vinnie Stigma’s namesake band. In interviews, Mike speaks about the community around hardcore, writing and recording, and the connection between a band and the people who come to its shows.

Mike’s visual work draws on the same culture as his music: graffiti, New York hardcore, punk records, and the objects and images he grew up around.
Through Gallo Originals, he makes original artwork, mixed-media pieces, and designs for apparel. His work includes painted and sculptural pieces inspired by records, cassette tapes, boomboxes, and street lettering.
For interviews, he can discuss the relationship between his music and art, his process, and building an independent creative business alongside a touring band.
